1.1 OUR FIRST ACTIVITY

Hello my friends!!!

We will start a fascinating trip that mainly involves learning English. However, it also implies discovering who you are and what you can do to improve your life and help others too.

I hope you have watched the previous video since our first activity will be based on it. As you could notice the video has Spanish subtitles, thinking of it as our first assigment.

So, my friends this is what you'll do:

1. click on this link ADVICE. It is a column that appears on the Chicago Tribune written by Mary Schmich

2. read the text carefully. It doesn't matter if you understand, just a litte or the whole document. If you could do the last thing it would be AWESOME.

3. write down, on a piece of paper or in your notebook, the words you can't understand and the equivalent in Spanish.

4. Read the whole text again and listen to the video at the same time.

5. Create a picture, BY YOUR OWN, about what's the main message of the video.
